Richard and I were married in 1968. We had 2 children, Kiley was born in 1971 and Kenny was born in 1973. We moved from Kansas City to Olathe in 1976 and raised our children there. I worked as Office Manager for the Olathe Area Chamber of Commerce for a number of years. After that I worked in several different places but found my second favorite job at the Air Traffic Control Center in Olathe. I worked as a contractor in the training department for 12 years and then was hired by the FAA. I was Administrative Assistant in the Training Department and then took a job as the Admin for the Air Traffic Manager & Assistant Air Traffic Manager. I retired from the FAA after 6 years.
Now I work part time for a company that does elder care.
In 1999 my husband of 31 years passed away from cancer. We miss him so much but know he is in a much better place.

I started Kindergarten at Loretto. My mother went to high school there too and a few of the nuns were still there when mother was. One of the nun's that was a friend of hers would see me walking in the hall and say Harriet (my mother's name) and I always thought I was in trouble when I heard her call her name. She just wanted to check in with me. Great lady.
