Chris Coughlin

I never worked for an advertising firm post college (see school comments) and went in to sales. Most of sales career has been in technology and telecom, from computer training to AT&T, Sprint and others.

I moved to Chicago in October of '99 because I wanted a bigger sand box to play in. I had spent three years as a founder and organizer of a non-profit singles party group called Hot Sofa, in Kansas City. We would throw parties at bars where 700-1,000 people would show up. I kept seeing the same face and the same women so it was time to do something different.

I knew some people in Chicago through some seminars I had taken through Landmark Education and decided to give it a shot. Met my wife, Terri, on match.com in 2001, we were married in 2003, and now have three kids. We live in the city, just north of Wrigley Field and are trying to move to the suburbs to raise our kids in a better area and school system.

My life has had it's up's and down's but I am one of the luckiest people I know and firmly believe that life is what you make it.

I won't be able to attend the reunion since we sold and bought another house and can't afford the time away.

I left Loretto after 8th grade to attend Rockhurst High School (1981-1985). Then went to the University of Oklahoma (1985-1987) and transferred to the University of Kansas (1987-1989) where I received a B.S. in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising.

I loved Loretto for the people, the atmosphere for learning, the "out of the box classes" like Death and Dying that Nelda taught.

I'll never forget building the fort with the Barrett's and Steve Judd and being called Toughskins or Cough. Great times!
