Welcome to the Loretto in KC Website!

All people who are interested in Loretto in KC are most welcome to register. Click on "Classmates" to the left, then on your class year. If you're on the list, click on your name & sign up.

If you're not on the list (many apologies -- we're working hard to reassemble class lists), just click on "Contact Us" at the left. Send your (maiden) name and class year (just leave it blank if you're a teacher or guest) and we'll put you on the list. After your name is on the list, you'll get an invitation via e-mail so you can then sign up for real.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hi, Everyone...

I have copies of a BUNCH of photos Sally took of our work. There are over 100 and I am still scanning them. I will bring copies on CD to the service tomorrow but I know everyone can't be there. If you want a copy give me a shout. I am happy to share them and Sally would be thrilled for us to have them. I would LOVE to be able to ID all the kids but I can't do it on my own.

Be well,

Kimberly "Kimbi" Chatten Justice

Our friend, teacher, and colleague Sally Tureman will be remembered at a service at John Knox Village at 5 pm on Friday January 6th. There will be a quartet of music provided by some of her Loretto students before the service.  It will be nice to have a group of Loretto people present.
The exact address is 510 NW Peace Parkway, Lees Summit 64081, in the Atrium next to the Court Yard Cafe.

Loretto teacher Sally Tureman died Christmas Eve morning, in Kansas City, at the John Knox Village hospice.  Sally had been diagnosed with a rare cancer. Her death was unexpectedly sudden, but very peaceful.  Please remember Sally’s family and many friends.  Loretto Alums who would like to contribute stories about Sally's "pygmy camp" and other classroom activities are invited to address them to Sister Eleanor Craig at ecraig42@gmail.com

It was SO great to see so many people from the '80's at the reunion in 2009!
